Meet Olivia
Diagnosis: Moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis
Olivia loves to be active, but it wasn’t always easy. In college, she experienced joint pain and swelling, and often had difficulty walking to class. After years of taking several treatments, including TNF blockers, she was ready to try something different.
The impact of XELJANZ
Olivia began to experience flare-ups, which included joint pain and swelling in her hands, when she was taking a TNF blocker. It wasn’t providing enough relief, so she asked her rheumatologist about other treatment options. They discussed the potential benefits and serious side effects and decided to try XELJANZ.
More days than not, the fact that I have RA does not weigh on my mind.
Since starting XELJANZ, Olivia has noticed an improvement in her RA symptoms. She has seen reduced joint pain and swelling and has an easier time completing daily tasks. She’s looking forward to enjoying activities that RA has made challenging in the past.
